28 October 2008 Sending Your Ballot
American citizens already should have mailed their absentee ballots for the November 4, 2008, presidential and general elections. Mail transmission to the United States takes five to six days, depending on your state, using the Express Mail envelopes available at the U.S. Embassy. Ballots submitted to the U.S. Embassy on or after October 30, 2008, may not arrive in the United States by the November 4 election. Please note that U.S. citizens cannot vote at the Embassy.
