10 March 2010 DS-160 Online Form Problems
For the week of March 8 – 12 only, applicants who are unable to complete the DS-160 may present the DS-156 in support of their visa application. (In addition, males aged between 16 and 45 should complete the DS-157 and F and J visa applicants the DS-158.) The forms are available on the visa forms page at: london.usembassy.gov/cons_new/visa/forms/visaforms.html
Note: From March 15 onwards, applicants applying for visas at the Embassy in London or the Consulate General in Belfast will be required to complete the online DS-160. We will no longer accept the DS-156.

Winners of New U.S. Embassy Design contest announced!   U.S. Ambassador Louis B. Susman, and Acting Director of the Bureau of Overseas Buildings Operations, Adam Namm, announced that KieranTimberlake of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania has won the design competition for the New London Embassy.

01 March 2010 New Law Makes Absentee Voting Easier for Overseas Americans   On October 28, 2009, Congress enacted the Military and Overseas Voter Empowerment Act. This legislation amends existing law regarding overseas voting in federal elections, and should make voting easier for overseas Americans.
