Welcome from Ambassador Tuttle

It’s my great pleasure to welcome you to the Kids section of the American Embassy’s web site. I hope that you find it both informative and entertaining.

On our travels around the United Kingdom my wife Maria and I have met many of your fellow schoolchildren and we’ve been constantly amazed and impressed by their keen interest in the United States and all things American. One of the real delights of my job is the opportunity it offers to talk to young people of all backgrounds and to exchange thoughts and opinions on topics ranging from music and sport to politics and international relations. Whatever the subject we always manage to learn something from one another. While I may never be able to fully understand the game of rugby or the mysteries of a draw in cricket, I find that meeting and talking with the young people of the UK is one of my favorite things about being an Ambassador.

Enjoy exploring the U.S. Embassy for Kids. And now - your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to complete all of the puzzles and have some fun along the way!
